Our National Level Achievers in various competitions are as follows-

Ahmad Anas and Kannagi Tripathi of Std. 11 won the second  position in  the City Round of the Cryptic Crossword Contest (an annually held competition by  Extra-C in collaboration with CBSE and KV Sangathan) and stood as the  Runners Up in  the event. They qualified for the National Level which will be held on the 26^th, 27^th and 28^th of   November at New Delhi.

In sports, Ali Nawaz Khan of Std. 8 bagged the second position in  Shot Put in the U-14 Boys category in the CBSE Athletics Meet -2019(Cluster-V).

 Shikhar Agarwal of Std. 11 also participated in the same Meet and stood second in Javelin Throw in the U-19     category.Both the students qualified for the National Level. The other achievers are as follows:

·         On 17^th August,2019 Akshat Srivastava and Abdul Ahad of class 10 B won the second prize in an event- Technothon 2019 organised by DPS ,Allahabad for their presentation in ‘Photofunk’ on Digital India.

·         Sunidhi Srivastava and Saumya Mishra were awarded the third and consolation prize for their project based on ‘Save Water’ in a competition at the  Summer School at Chandigarh in June 2019.

·         Shadma Farooqui of class 11B and Komal Srivastava of class 10 B were awarded the second prize in the poster making competition in ‘Vagisha’, a cultural programme organized by Golden Jubilee Jagat Taran School on the occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’.

·         Madhuram Kool of class 12C was awarded the second prize for classical singing in the same programme.

·         The following students won the prizes in the Sports Atheletics Cluster V CBSE Tournament organized from 18^th to 21^st September,2019.

1.      Sarah Saeed of Class 9 B won the third prize in Javelin Throw (under 14)

2.      Janhavi Rai of Class 12 H won third prize in Discus Throw (under 19)

At DPS,the Tagore Public School Football team in the U-17 category was selected at the Quarter Final level.

At Ranchi,our school bagged the 8^th position at the Zonal level in chess.

Our children participated in a mega event ALFRESCO organized by BHS from22-24 October 2019 in face painting,Caption Me, Sing Along, Creative Muse, Pubg, Happy Feel and Quiz.

·          The Congregation for Urban and Rural Environment organized a debate competition on 14^th August’ 19 at Bal Bhavan on environmental issues. Two of our students , Sahra Khan of Class 9 and Arpita Kesarwani of Class 8 won the 2^nd prize in the Junior and Senior categories respectively.
